Ensure you review this policy thoroughly prior to reserving a yacht. When you proceed with a reservation at SharedResourceCenter, you're confirming your acceptance of our refund conditions.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding processing charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: £50 for credit card operations
Conditions: Written request needed via email or phone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: 50% reimbursement of the overall charter price
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: £25 subtracted from the refund amount
Conditions: Justifiable reason is essential; administrative charges applicable
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refunds are not available
Exception: Consideration of emergency cases possible
Alternative: At the discretion of management, a charter voucher might be offered
Conditions: Emergency claims require supporting evidence
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety is our utmost concern. Should our professional captain judge the weather conditions as perilous for boat charters, we supply several alternatives:
- Full Refund: We offer a complete refund in cases where rebooking isn't an option
- Reschedule: We allow you to choose another date for your charter at no extra expense
- Charter Credit: We issue a voucher that's good for one year from the date of the original booking
Weather Assessment Process
Our weather evaluation includes checking the following elements:
- An examination of the wind's velocity and its bearing
- The anticipated heights of waves and current oceanic conditions
- Predictions for visibility and expected precipitation
- Notices and alerts from the Coast Guard
- An expert safety review from our captain
Decision Timeline: Decisions to cancel due to weather are taken at the latest 4 hours prior to the planned departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We are sympathetic to the occurrence of unexpected medical emergencies. Cases that may merit special consideration include:
- Acute illness or injury necessitating a hospital stay
- Passing of a direct family member
- Requirements of sudden military commission or urgent recall
- Mandatory appearance for jury service or legal summons
- Disasters of nature that disrupt travel plans
Documentation Requirements
In order to handle requests for refunds due to an emergency, please provide:
- A note from the doctor or documentation from the hospital
- A death certificate when appropriate
- Orders from the military
- Notice of legal summons or jury service requirement
- Official declarations of emergency or travel warnings
Processing: Refunds related to emergencies are issued typically within a window of 3-5 business days once all required proof has been submitted.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
Should the designated boat suffer technical failures that are irreparable:
- Alternative Vessel: Efforts will be made to allocate a similar substitute
- Full Refund: Provided when no appropriate replacement is found
- Partial Refund: Issued if the substitute boat varies in cost
- Compensation: Further compensation might be provided for any trouble caused
Crew Unavailability
On the infrequent occasion that certified crew members are not available:
- A substitute crew will be arranged if feasible
- Complete refund if the charter is unable to occur
- Rescheduling available at no extra charge
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Reimbursement will be issued using the original booking payment method:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days
Processing Fees
Credit Card Processing
£50 fee for cancellations before 72 hours from the event
Bank Transfer Processing
£25 fee applies to all refunds via bank transfer
International Processing
Extra charges may apply for international procedures
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
Credit for future charters may be presented instead of refunds under particular conditions:
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice)
- Cancellations due to weather conditions
- Voluntary requests to reschedule
- Disruptions to operations
Credit Terms
- Validity: 12 months from the date of issuance
- Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to others
- Value: Equivalent to the full cost of the charter (excluding handling fees)
- Usage: Applicable towards any available charter service
- Expiration: Credit expires after 12 months without the possibility of extension
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
Should your charter experience disruptions or be curtailed owing to situations we oversee:
- A proportional refund corresponding to the unutilized duration
- A voucher for a future charter of the same value
- Free services or enhancements
Guest-Related Interruptions
If a charter ends prematurely due to the behaviors of guests or breaches of safety:
- There will be no reimbursement for the time not used
- The entire payment is still owed
- There might be extra charges incurred
Dispute Resolution
In case of disagreement with a refund determination, you are entitled to:
- Request our management team to reassess
- Submit further evidence or information
- Appeal to consumer protection bodies
- Engage in legal proceedings as permitted by law

Step 3: Review and Processing
We'll acknowledge receipt of your inquiry within a day, evaluate it following this policy, decide within 2 days, and process approved reimbursements as per the stipulated periods.
Important Notes
- All applications for refunds must be lodged in written form
- Refund transactions are performed in £ regardless of the original payment's currency
- We highly encourage securing travel insurance
- This policy can be revised with a notification period of 30 days
- Refunds are subject to the pertinent taxes and regulatory conditions
